Whether summer or winter, the Leventina Valley and Ticino in general offer many opportunities for leisure and fun activities as well as cultural visits and outings.

The area’s great summer offer includes opportunities to organize walks in the Piora area with the Ritom, Tom, Cadagno lakes and to frequent both the Gotthard area and the Bedretto Valley area. In the area of Rodi Fiesso there is the possibility of visiting the trails of Mount Piottino , the Dazio Grande as well as access, including via the AET cable car, to the alpine lake of Tremorgio. In addition, the area has several possibilities for organizing outings with overnight stays in the various alpine huts and possibilities for organizing bike rides.

Winter stays allow people to take advantage of both the Airolo ski lifts and, for the less demanding, to use the Cioss Prato lifts and prepared snowshoeing trails.

It is also possible to visit the Leventina Museum in Giornico, the structures of the forts in the Gotthard area, the demonstration dairy in Airolo, the crystal cave in Cioss Prato, and the Dazio grande in Rodi Fiesso.
